Overview
8 Hero Siege 3.1 is a Warcraft III custom map by Squidy for ten players split into two teams on a 96 by 96 battlefield. The author describes it as a defense where each hero holds a lane against an undead onslaught, and players must work together to survive. The roster includes nineteen heroes, among them the Lich King, Paladin, Summoner, Druid, Werebear, Sith Lord and Jedi Knight, plus several secret heroes added in this version. The item pool contains 58 entries, such as healing potions, Tomes of All Property and Ankh of Reincarnation Deluxe. Typing -hint, -hint2 or -hint3 in chat shows tips for unlocking the secret heroes. The loading screen lists recent changes, including altars that now offer spells, cheaper premium items and lower requirements for some hero skills.
