Overview
Anime Hero Arena 8.5 is a 12-player, two-team deathmatch on a 128x128 map, with players fighting as characters drawn from a large roster of 84 heroes. Battles revolve around gaining strength as the match goes on, which unlocks three battle champions for each player. Along the way, players can buy helpful items, including tomes that raise individual stats, or save gold to recruit an extra hero. The map also hides a secret character to find, and its newer weapons are deliberately harder to obtain. Chat commands include a debug option for duels, along with several others. The quest log is empty, so there are no written objectives beyond the deathmatch itself.
