Overview

Area of Ice Escape 4 Hard edited V2 is a sliding maze game for up to twelve players split into two teams. It expands an earlier map and adds a ghost system, where touching the glow of a fallen player revives them at the start, plus a camera zoom activated with the chat command -zoom. Players can pick from seven heroes, including Orc, Dwarf, Undead, Diablo, Gyrocopter, Illidan and Turtle, and a hero is chosen automatically if nobody selects one within ten seconds. Levels are picked at random and may require stepping on switches or collecting keys to open doors. Snow, monsters and vines are fatal, lava fragments make the hero slide, and dark ice makes turning difficult. Heroes gain levels for clearing a stage.
