CREDITS
I got the idea to make this map after playing "Art of Defense v2", a good map with some buggs. I've borrowed some of the units used in that map for use in this one. Special Thanks to: - Narzile - For helping me to test the map and coming up with a couple of good improvements. - "Seviethgin" - For making the original Art of Defense map. - ziggge - For a couple of useful tips. - trihero - For giving me a lot of new fresh suggestions that resulted in v2.2 Thanks to everyone who plays this map and helps me make it better!
Information
2006-02-12 This map is made by Stardragon- @ Europe. You can contact me on this email: beelzebub@beelzebub.se - There are 20 waves of enemies to survive. - The food limit is 80 - There is no upkeep - There are difficult air levels so be prepared - The Observatory must be protected
Player 1 Commands
2006-02-17 Commands usable by Player 1 (Red): -kick playercolor (ex. -kick blue) -killunits playercolor (Destroys that players' air and ground units, not buildings.) -skip (Starts the next level immediately)
v2.5
2007-05-20 - The food limit is now adjusted to the number of players in the game - The starting resources is now adjusted to the number of players in the game - When a player leaves his resources will be split among the remaining players - When a player leaves the food limit will be adjusted for the remaining players - Corrected a typo in the loading screen - Made the last level more challenging
v2.4
2006-02-17 - Fixed a bugg in v2.3 - Player 1 (red) can now type -skip to start the next level even if there are still some creeps left
v2.3
2006-02-12 - To speed up the game a bit you no longer have to kill all units to start the countdown to next level
v2.2
2005-07-10 This version exists only because trihero came up with new suggestions for the map, without the players feedback it's difficult to do something new.. - First hero no longer costs money, just as in a melee game. - Unit stats and so on have been configured to be those of the latest patch. - Reduced the number of Red Dragons by a third. - Food limit lowered to 80 to reduce lagg - Decreased the numer of enemies in each wave to reduce lagg - A lot of changes to the waves - Units killed by towers now give EXP - Skeletons in the beginning can now be damaged by Detonation (Wisp ability) - Tier 2 upgrade time raised to 180sec - Tier 3 upgrade time raised to 200sec
v2.1
2005-07-07 This will probably be the final version if I don't receive any new good suggestions on what to add/remove. I will not add any kind of difficulity settings in this map since I've made the triggers so stupid that it would demand too much work. But I might make a whole new Art of Defense map.. Changes: - Added a dialog for choosing race - Minors changes to the enemy waves
v2.0
2005-06-09 Changes: - Made some changes to a couple of levels - When a player leaves he is removed from the scoreboard - Added 10 seconds to the preperation time - Increased the armor of the Observatory to 20
v1.9
2005-06-08 Changes: - Hopefully reduced the lagg of the map by optimizing some triggers
v1.8
2005-05-27 Changes: - Changes to the enemy waves - Modified the enemy heroes even more - Improved the Ancients
v1.7
2005-05-22 Changes: - Made some of the levels more difficult. - Added more warnings for difficult air levels - Modified most of the enemy heroes
v1.6
2005-05-20 Changes: - Completely changed the system which check how many units is left to kill in order to get rid of the many buggs
v1.5
2005-05-20 Changes: - Reduced the time between levels greatly - Reduced health of Observatory - Removed one gold mine in every base - Lowered the food limit to make the game more difficult and reduce lagg - Fixed a bugg with one of the levels - Fixed a bugg with enemies returning to the spawn and not leaving - Changed the movement pattern of the spawned units slightly - Fixed the bugg with enemy heroes not being leveled-up to level 10 - Minor changes to the terrain
v1.4
2005-05-16 Changes: - Fixed a bugg causing the waves not to spawn - Removed cooldown from items in the shops - Some changes to the terrain - You can now only have one hero of each type
v1.3
2005-05-16 Changes: - Modified the enemy waves slightly - Added a couple of shops and taverns - Hopefully fixed the damn bugg with the timer windows..
v1.2 FIX
2005-05-15 I hosted version 1.2 with some changes I had made to test the map that shouldn't be there, in this version it is fixed.
v1.2
2005-05-15 Changes: - Made the game more difficult - FINALLY fixed the bugg with the timer windows - Made some changes to the terrain - Prevented the warning trigger to be spammed - Added announcements when a player leaves - Fixed a bugg with the kick commands
v1.1
2005-05-15 Changes: - Increased the number of enemies greatly to make the game more challening. - Added some "admin" commands for Player 1. - Implented a banlist. - The enemy crypt fiends no longer have the ability to burrow. - The game no longer stops after the blademaster level. - Removed the bugg with lots of countdown windows for Level 7.

Original in-game description by Stardragon- @ Europe
This map is like a hero siege or tower defense map, but instead of overpowered heroes and upgrading towers you pick a race and build a base to produce units in order to protect the Observatory from the enemy waves that spawns outside your team's base.
