Avalanche

Overview

Avalanche is a racing survival map for 12 players split into two teams, set on a tall mountain course that is 32 by 480 in size. The author's own pitch is simply "Run for your life." Players sprint downward while an avalanche chases them, and the quest log says each person must dodge obstacles along the way, with the winner being whoever reaches the bottom alive. The map has no heroes, items, or chat commands, so the experience rests entirely on movement and timing. Hidden paths and warps, suggested by Crystal_Cutter, add shortcuts to the route. The author also notes that Naval Warfare is their best map so far.
