Battleships X
Author: Oblivion9
Overview
Battleships X v3.5 is a naval combat map for Warcraft III, set in a Caribbean-themed conflict between a South Alliance and a North Alliance across 12 players on two teams. Players pilot a range of vessels, from the early Galley and Longship to the Ironclad, Pirate Battleship, and Flag Ship, with 17 hero ship types in total. Combat relies on purchasable weapons, each with its own damage, range, and cooldown, that are bought from weapon shops and fire at random targets. Trade is also a major element: players obtain a Trade Boat, pick up a contract from a Trade Master, and return for a reward, with trading experience feeding into their lumber. The win condition is to destroy the enemy Main Harbour. Chat commands such as -help and -kick are available in game.
