Overview
LOTRmaul 1.8 is a tower defense style custom map for ten players split into two teams, played on a 96x96 battlefield. The author's description frames it as a Lord of the Rings themed fight in which humans and elves, with Saruman's help, must hold back a new wave of creeps. Three heroes are listed: Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas. Players are expected to build mazes and towers, and the loading screen suggests spending early lumber on a hero house if you want a hero. Chat commands include kicking players by color, plus -updates and -help. The quest log holds version notes and strategy write-ups, mostly written for the earlier Pokemon-themed towers. Its tower names do not match the Lord of the Rings theme, so those notes may be outdated.
