Overview

Area Of Ice Escape 8.4 is an escape map for twelve players split into two teams on a 192 by 192 grid. Players choose from six heroes, including Ice Fly and the Fly and Demon Escaper units, and can collect around thirty items such as several wing types and frost orbs. The ice comes in three grades: light blue is mostly easy to cross, deep blue disorients movement, and very deep blue makes turning difficult. Snow, monsters, and vines are deadly, while lava fragments cause sliding. Some stages require stepping on traps or collecting keys to open doors, and a glowing circle over a fallen player can revive them at the start. Clearing a stage revives everyone. Chat commands adjust rain, fog, wind, and light.
