DDAY; Liberation of France
Author: Surloc
Overview
D-Day: Liberation of France v1.0 is a World War II simulation for seven players split across two teams, with a 228x300 playable area. According to the author, it focuses on the conflicts and successes of nation states unfolding in real time. The map accepts a set of chat commands that bring up a multiboard and switch between several group or status views, along with options for neutral, war, oil and ally settings. No heroes, items or quest log entries are listed, so the map is best understood as a strategy simulation rather than a hero-driven game. The author asks players to restart Warcraft III before and between custom games.
