Dominions Reborn is a map built around the concept of conquest. At the start of the game notice how there are two sections on the minimap; one of them is a small square outside of the center main arena. This location is where you build your army which will then spawn in the main arena at your castle. Return to this place to update your army and upgrade it. As you capture your opponents castles they will bend the knee to your might and join you, however be warned that everyone can rebel once in the game by hitting ESC on their keyboard. Soundly conquer all to achieve complete victory!
The original Dominions of War was created by AlexMdle.
Made for the Wc3 Vidya Group's Map Jam 2016
The current map editor for this version and moving forward is Skurje.
I did this as the map is already incredible and I decided that since it had remained untouched for over half a decade, someone should step up and make some improvements with community help!

-nn (No Night; An extensive mode, that changes many of the game's rules and eliminates the night breaks.)
-nm (No Mercs; Removes mercenaries from the game. Mutex with -mec)
-mec (Mercs Only; Removes racial barracks from the game. Mutex with -nm)
-ca (Carnage; Halves the health of all units.)
-he (Hero Mode; Heroes gain 300% exp.)

Basics
The ultimate goal of the game is to assume dominion over all other players by defeating them.
Destroying a player's castle will force them and all of their forces to switch their allegiance and team color to match yours.
As long as you yourself are not conquered, you maintain the position as your team's Leader.
However, should the Leader of a team be defeated, he and his entire team are brought into the fold of the new Leader. The only way out is to Rebel, but this can only be done once.
The Army
Your army is the array of units that fight for you during the day and are derived from the blueprint of units recruited during the night. They cannot be directly controlled and are instead ordered by your Leader's Rally and Lead abilities. This can leave your army stranded, should your hero be dead.
They can either be recruited from your race's default barracks or from mercenary camps. The former can also receive upgrades from your race's upgrade building.
The mercenary camp provides up to 8 different unit types for purchase. These units are available only during the night and their pool is rerolled every time. They do not benefit from standard upgrades.
Purchase is done using gold and uses up some of your food. Thus the room in your army is limited. It can only be increased by capturing and holding Food Stands or researching Food Stores at your Castle.
A unit can be sold during the night, using your Leader. The refund is 100% of the buying price, until the start of the next day.
The Leader
The Leader is a hero unit under your control and is hired from the Tavern. They manage your army during the night and lead it during the day.
Should you fail to pick a Leader during the first night, you will be provided with a random one.
Besides leading your army with the Rally (Q) and Lead (W) abilities, they can also Recall, teleporting themselves and the entire army to a friendly building.
Gold Mines
There are 4 Gold Mines in the arena.
Gold Mines provide an extra 25% of the day's gold income each, spread troughout the day.
The income is applied to all players of a team.
To capture a site, you have to destroy it, which will bring it under the control of you or your team leader.
Rebellion
You may choose to rebel against your Leader by pressing ESC during the night. This will boot you from your Leader's team, restore your original color and make you eligible for dominion over others again.
This can only be done once and should be used with caution, as in later phases of the game it leaves you alone to fend against much bigger teams.
No Night
No Nights modifier changes the following:
- No more night breaks.
- All units die 135 seconds after being spawned.
- Income is provided at a faster rate, but the overall gain is the same as usual.
- Mercenary camps can be used during the day and reroll automatically on every reinforcement.
- You can rebel during the day. This will teleport all your units to your castle.
- Units always sell for 85% of their price.
