Overview

Spiral Defense v20.3 is a tower-defense style map in which a team of seven players defends the Eye of Sargeras against 52 waves of monsters, each wave bringing its own set of abilities. The map is played in two teams and offers eight heroes, including the Draenei Assassin, Elementalist, Battlemaster and Succubus, along with a catalogue of roughly 100 items such as staves, swords and gauntlets. Players are encouraged to make use of the items and to help one another. Chat commands handle much of the coordination: one restarts a stalled wave, another skips ahead through early levels, a third grants a one-time gold bonus, and others let players share gold or transfer units before leaving. Extra income can come from trading potions, shimmerweeds or mined ironwood.
