Phat Lewt info
In one out of 25 games, the Sheep will drop Phat Lewt. ---The Phat Lewt gives an extra 2 gold per interval to the player holding it, and 1 gold per interval to teammates. ---In exchange, the hero carrying the Phat Lewt has its armor reduced by 2 and is clearly identified both on the map and on the scoreboard. ---If the carrier dies, the Phat Lewt is dropped and can be acquired by other players/teams.
Basic Tips
Heroes: A good team requires a balance of different types of heroes and teamwork among them. If you're playing to win, talk to your teammates. Proper gold usage: You should typically spend the majority of your gold on upgrades, and some on items. Your hero is the catch, since support heroes put more gold into upgrades, and you should save at least some gold in case your hero dies. You can cancel upgrades to get gold back, but you cannot sell items if your hero is dead. Keeping your hero alive: Run away if you're in a bad spot, and if you can't get away, use a Town Portal. The Center Shop sells additional Town Portals, Health Stones, Ankhs, and other items that will help you stay alive. Getting gold: You are awarded gold for killing enemy units. You lose gold for killing your own or your teammates'. The more units you have (starting at 20), the less gold you get per kill, shown at the top-right corner of the screen. All players receive a small amount of gold over time, which increases as a subtle handicap effect. Orbs: In most games, it is beneficial to purchase one Orb, which should depend on circumstance. Lightning Orb can be used to dispel both enemies and teammates, Mask of Death helps keep high-damage heroes alive, Frost Orb is excellent for assassin heroes, and Fire Orb helps against generic units. Mercenaries: Shadow Priests, Necromancers, Steam Tanks, Mortar Teams, and Doom Guards can be acquired from shops to aid you, each with unique purpose. Trolls, Necromancers, and Doom Guards can all dispel magic, and Tanks and Mortar Teams may be necessary to raze enemy bases.
Commands/Hosting
Special commands (enter in chat): -help: Displays visual help tips for the various structures. Enter again to turn it off. -kick: Removes malicious teammates from the game. This can only be used if the map flags your teammate as a problem. Hosting information: All Random: Enable Random Races/Heroes in the Advanced Options before creating the game, and all players will be forced to use a random race and/or hero. You may enable either or both. WARNING - A known bug with the Observers on Defeat option may cause severe problems with the game. Please do not enable this option when hosting.
