Changes added in 4.17:
- Host mode selection uses start buttons; chat mode commands are disabled.
- Tower range preview during placement and upgrade-button hover.
- Lag fix: waves 35-40 have about 25% fewer creeps and 35% more HP.
- Dead creeps are removed immediately; catch-up spawning is smoother.
- Catch-up rotates through eligible ranks with a five-round cooldown.
- Bonus creeps count for kills, not the cap. Normal maximum: 1000.
