Overview
Hero Wars Mater 2.3 is a team-based hero map for twelve players split across two sides, set on a 96x96 battlefield. Its roster lists 106 heroes and 311 items, including Paladin, Archmage, Lich, Dreadlord and Demigod, along with flags for each race. The quest log names the goal as destroying the enemy farm on the far side of the map. Players can use chat commands such as -repick to choose a new hero, -teleout to return to base, -zoom to adjust the camera, and -listp to see who is in the game. Duels can be tagged with a partner through a button in the interface or a right-click, and the version notes describe changes to tag duels, gold penalties on death, and a switch from the Reign of Chaos format to The Frozen Throne.
