Overview
Humans vs Orcs v4.0a is a 12-player, two-team Warcraft III map where each side tries to destroy the other team's main castle by building, upgrading and pushing armies. Its loading screen frames the play as a war fought again between humans and orcs, with players taking on the role of a pawn. Eight heroes are included, among them a Priest, a Bear with a Bear Form, a Witch Doctor, a Night Ranger, a Dark Wizard, a Captain and a Death Mage, and the map ships with well over a hundred items, ranging from axes to orbs. Weapon upgrading is a central challenge: players hunt for randomly spawning runes, since a failed upgrade sends the weapon back to level one. Chat commands such as -tip, -load, -tmode and -jobs control help, loading, modes and jobs.
