Introduction
Legion TD is a tower defense game, where players build units to defend against waves of enemies while strategizing to attack their opponents.
It is a mix of strategy, resource management, and teamwork. Mastering unit placements, economic balance, and wave predictions will lead to victory.
Keep practicing different strategies and adapt to different team compositions to become a Legion TD champion!
Objective
[*] Defend your King from enemy leaks.
[*] Build and upgrade units efficiently to survive and outlast opponents.
[*] Send mercenaries to pressure opponents while managing your own economy.
Building Units
[*] Players receive gold each round to build and upgrade fighters.
[*] Fighters automatically engage in combat when waves spawn.
[*] Placement and synergy of fighters are crucial for efficiency.
[*] Fighters belong to different tiers and have unique abilities.
Income and Economy
[*] A general economic guideline to follow (Wisps/Lumberjack):
-> Level 1: 3/1
-> Level 3: 7/2
-> Level 4: 10/3
-> Level 7: 10/8
[*] Avoid over-investing in the economy at the expense of your army, as this can leave you vulnerable to enemy attacks.
[*] Gold is earned by clearing waves, sending mercenaries, and maintaining income.
[*] Sending mercenaries to opponents increases your own income.
[*] Balancing economy and defense is key to long-term success.
Waves and Leaks
[*] Enemy waves spawn at the start of each round.
[*] Surviving fighters move to the King to defend against leaked enemies from other players.
[*] Leaked enemies move to the King. All players must defend him.
[*] Defeating leaks grants bonus gold.
The King
[*] The King is the final defense line.
[*] The team whose King dies first loses the game.
[*] Can be upgraded with lumber to increase HP, attack, HP regeneration, and abilities (Dark Presence, Royal Presence, Provoke Anarchy).
[*] All players contribute to defending the King.
Phase 1 - Preparation
[*] Choose a race or roll for random fighters.
[*] Strategically place units to counter the upcoming wave.
[*] Save or spend gold wisely to maintain a balance between economy and defense.
Phase 2 - Combat
[*] Waves spawn, and fighters automatically engage in battle.
[*] Stronger waves appear in later rounds, requiring better unit compositions.
Phase 3 - Mercenary and Income
[*] Send mercenaries to opponents to disrupt enemy defense.
[*] Generating income early improves late-game potential.
[*] Invest in lumber production to improve income but beware of weakened defense.
Late Game and Sudden Death
[*] Waves become significantly stronger.
[*] Players with weak economies struggle to keep up.
[*] The game ends when a team's King dies.
Changelog
[Major Changes]

[*] Sudden Death mode is the default mode to cause big king-showdowns instead of creep traffic jams.
[*] Lucky Roll defaults to Off in PH and AP mode, but the host can enable it.
[*] If the game starts without player Red, the next active team player can configure the game and use host commands.
[*] Each player can start one votekick per game while the host can start unlimited votekicks.
[*] New host-only commands to release King control: -westking (-wk) and -eastking (-ek).
[*] Added a grid system that can be turned on/off with a button.
