Lord of the Rings Risk: Strongholds

Overview

Lord of the Rings Risk: Strongholds is a territory-conquest map for up to twelve players, played on a 192 by 192 terrain set across Middle-earth. Players claim regions, raise armies and send heroes to take strongholds that unlock extra spawns, income and wood. The roster lists 42 heroes, including Aragorn, Gandalf, Sauron and the Witch King, along with elite units tied to certain heroes such as Ents, Great Eagles and Mûmakil. Chat commands handle camera distance, alliances and free-for-all or team settings. The quest log advises keeping a fast group in reserve, since a player who loses every land can still return while able to take a control point, and it suggests holding only territory you can defend.
