LOTR: The Ring Wars
Author: ImmortaL_GoD
Overview
The Ring Wars is a Middle-earth themed multiplayer map for twelve players split into two teams, set in the Third Age as Sauron's shadow spreads. Players can pick from 79 heroes, including the Witch-King, the Ringbearer, and several of the Nine, along with 57 items such as The One Ring and the Staff of Saruman. Optional modes change the pace or rules: short mode speeds up castles and boosts experience gain, ring transformations affect four characters, and anti-cluster adds stackable debuffs to heroes. Chat commands let players open or close gates and show the spawn timer. The quest log lists credits, version changes, and tips for lag and hosting problems.
