---Version 2a Fixes---
The following are the fixes made in version 2a made by either Tifa_Lockhart or yoda_24.
Spirit Walker
Spirit Walker
Spirit Walkers no longer count as units that count towards your army when they are in etheral form. If you only have etheral Spirit Walkers left, you will lose. This prevents people from stalling with etheral spirit walkers.
Infernal
Infernal
If an Infernal is summoned it will no longer cause a bug in the game causing it to either think no one has won or wait until the timer reaches zero to declare a winner.
Tinker
Tinker
The Goblin Tinker has been added to the heroes you can make. Have fun with him :P
Banning Players
Banning Players
The person who sets the rules for each tournament may ban a person by saying #ban##. The second ## is the number of the player.
Surrendering
Surrender
This was in the old version but there was no mention of it. You can surrender by typing surrender.
Balancing
This is a list of many of the balance changes to make the map less rigged:
- Militia changed to unarmored armor type.
- Tauren Spiritwalker's Ancestral Spirit spell's cost raised to 380.
- Ethereal Don't Count but if you're spiritwalker is ressurecting a tauren he will continue.
- Naga Royal Guard Crushing Wave removed.
- All Draenai armor increased.
---TM-Magic Fixes---
Balances made by TM-Magic in 4.01. (Tifa/Yoda made some more versions, but I can't get my hands on them so I fixed somethings myself.)
------------------------------------------------------
Polymorph, duration is set to 50 seconds from 60.
Banshees food cost set back to 2, but possess costs 300mp instead of 250mp and takes 6 secs to cast instead of 4.5sec
Flying Machine Nerfed slightly, cooldown for air attack is set to 2.20 from 2.00 and ground attack is set to 2.70 from 2.50. (aka attacks slightly slower).
4.02 Balances
----------------------------
Dryad attack rate also slightly nerfed, cooldown raised from 2.00 to 2.20.
4.03 Balances
--------------------------------------
Polymorph nerfed to 45 seconds.
Militia armortype set back to heavy from unarmored but have 0 armor instead of 10.
Banshee Possessing has shortened cast range, initially 350 range, now 280 range.
Serpent wards cost a tad more mana (initially 30mp at all levels, now lvl 1 = 30mp, Lvl 2 = 34mp, lvl 3 = 40mp.
4.04 Balances
---------------------------------------
Due to complaints, banshees were Nerfed even further. Their possess range is now 200 from 280, initially 350.
4.05 Balances
--------------------------------
Banshees were nerfed AGAIN, Cast range of possess reset back to 350 from 200, mana cost of possess set back to 250 from 300, however, banshees now take 2.2x normal damage when in the process of possessing instead of 1.66x and the max creep level was lowered to 3 from 5 (means things like tauren, abomination, knight, and other big units can no longer be possessed).
---TM-Magic Fixes 2---
4.06 Balances
-------------------------------------
™Polymorph further nerfed (still lots of complaints), lasts 40 seconds from 45seconds (originally 60 seconds), and cast range lowered from 500 to 400.
™Banshees were mesesd with again, hopefully for good. They're max unit target was set to 3 previously, now set back to the original 5, however, they take 3.5x normal damage while possessing instead of 2.2x set previously and from 1.66x initially.
4.07 Balanced
------------------------------
™Banshees now take 5 seconds to cast possess instead of 6 set previously and 4.5 sec set initially, however, take 4.2x damage instead of 3.5 set previously.
™Wisps detonate now has 2x the effect (damage to summons, destroying mana, bigger area).
4.08 Balanced
------------------------------
™Sorceress Polymorph now requires a range of 350 from 400 and initially 500, and lasts for 30 seconds from 45 and initially 60 sec.
™Banshee Possess now requires 200 cast range from 350, and amplifed damage was brought down from 4.2x to 3.4x while cast time was raised from 5 secs to 6.5 seconds.
™Engineer Robo-Goblin was nerfed slightly, Strength (lvl1 = 2, lvl2 = 3, lvl3 = 4, lvl4 = 5), and armor (lvl1 = 0, lvl2 = 1, lvl3 = 1, lvl4 = 2).
™Tutorial added.
4.09
--------------------
™Arena change
---TM-Magic Fixes 3---
4.10 Balances
-------------------------------------
Dreadlord Inferno - Has an added 4 second cast time and only lasts 2.5 minutes instead of 3.
Crypt Fiend - Burrow no longer gives 5 hp regen (which is rediculous), now its just normal (2.00 while on blight).
Dryad - Attack cooldown changed from 2.00 to 2.30.
Spirit Walker - Has 300 hp in eatheral form instead of 500.
Chance to miss on hills is now 35% instead of the normal 25%.
(Note: Some of these changes arn't because something is overpowered, but just to add more micro to the match).
Warden - Instead of 2.4 str and 1.6 agi a level, warden gets 2.0 str and 2.0 agi. This is to make her easier to kill when you have her in your grasps.
--Micro Basics (Pg.1)--
Tutorial - Basics Part I
--------------------------
These rules are the very basics of micro. Knowing these 4 rules will drastically change your gameplay.
Kill Damaged Units.
An almost dead unit deals the same amount of damage as one with full hitpoints. It is very important to eliminate those that are almost dead so that they can't be healed later in the game. It is actually for this reason that it is better to use all of your units to target a single target and eliminate them one at a time.
Retreat Damaged Units.
With the first rule being said, the second one has to be removing those that are damaged. There are several reasons why you should retreat damaged units.
1) When a unit group is set to attack move, they will no longer attack that unit, so removing the unit from combat and putting them back in will stop enemy fire and sperad out your enemy's damage.
2) If a player decides to target that specific unit and you remove it from battle, everything attacking it will follow. While your removing just one of your units from taking damage, you are actually stopping all of their units from attacking, allowing yours to deal extra damage. There is a certain technique with ranged units where you keep removing the targeted unit back until your enemy switches targets, then you move that one until their unit is dead. Works best with range vs a slow moving melee.
3) Removing a unit from battle will give you time to heal it. You'll have more time to select a healer to heal or wait for cooldown or mana.

Tutorial - Basics Part II
--------------------------
Know Who to Target
Usually (not always), you want to target casters first(unless they have 0 mana, then ignore them), ranged units second and melee units third. There are of course other circumstances that'll change this, but this is generally what you want to do. Some casters like necromancers or banshees are high priority targets, failing to kill them can result in losing right from the start. Ranged units generally have less hp and higher damage then melee units, plus they can use that micro technique mentioned earlier to win late game. Melee units are usually targeted last because they have the most hp, the best armor and have abilities that allow them to take less damage (i.e. Defend on the Footman or heavy armor type of the Grunt.)
Know your Units
Know the range, hp, mp, abilities, attack/armor types of your units and your enemy units. This is very important. If you don't know who to target first, check their damage and hp and the rest of their stats. Target units with the highest hp LAST. Second, use your abilities to the best of their ability. If you have a raider and use ensnare to stop an enemy, know that it only stops the MOVEMENT. The victim unit can still attack, so it is most benificial to ensnare a melee unit and make sure none of your units are near it. Knowing a few stats can save your army's life.
