Quest Log (F9)

The Polar Series
Polar Escape 1 - 4 Set during the Cold War, the story begins with a group of travelers who discovered what became known as the Polar Wasteland. Upon their return and divulgence, U.S. Military defector Commissar Yarrick discovered its existence and fled there, just weeks before it was revealed his link to the Soviets. A team of soldiers was sent to eliminate the traitor, and succeeded, only to be stranded themselves. A new elite unit code named the Demon Hunters were then formed to locate and extract the soldiers. Upon their arrival in the wasteland, they discovered a virus spreading that took the form of zombies, and which had claimed the lives of the soldiers. Their search for the cause of this disease led to a cave in a remote location. Polar Escape 5 The outlet of this cave was somewhere off the coast of Daggercap Bay; what they saw in the cave made a mockery of the virus outside. Northerend's safety against the rapidly-spreading terror depends only on the Demon Hunters knowledge of the virus, on their valiant escape...
Game Features
New Features I hope everybody enjoys the new camera distance; it should make skating much more enjoyable. You can always revert to the closer camera by pressing Del (Delete) or Ins (Insert). To zoom back out, just type -reset. Complementary to kicking, player red can use the -kill (color) command to kill frustrating players who may be withholding keys or just being lil bitches. Relating to colors, all players may use the -ghost on and -ghost off commands to go ghostlike on any color. And most notably, I'd like to unveil the -disco on and -disco off commands, allowing you to throw your own disco party Player red can enable disable disco by typing -enable/disable disco, respectively. Hey... pass the cocaine! Old Features It's been far enough along the road that we are all familiar with the following commands: To boot somebody from the game, player red can use the -kick (color) command. In addition, to change colors simply type -color (color), or try out the -wild trigger. As always, you can change your in-game name with the name spoofer by typing -name (desired name).
Ice Skates & AKM
Ice Skates Throughout the game you will receive ice skates which will allow you to steer yourself on the ice by right-clicking. As always, you will be notified when ice skates are given/lost, so keep an eye out. Arrow Key Movement (AKM) The largest stage in the map uses AKM (Left, Right, Up, Down) to move through the bulk of the level. Be sure to pay attention when that level comes, for you have to simply press the arrow keys to maneuver yourself across the ice.
Version Log
Version 1.0 - 1.8 The first version officially released to the public. If there are any bugs/problems, you can get my contact information under Tips/Questions. Fixed a major lag bug concerning mortar circles. Also changed mortars on level 4 to have fixed attack positions. Fixed wisp wheel memory leaks on level 4 and removed 3 major wisp wheels, replacing them with troll patrols. Removed level 4 mortar circles as well. Added some information in hints. Fixed major bug that caused keys/orbs to go with them if players left the game. Removed trolls on level 4 when it has been completed. Version 1.6 - 2.7 Changed level 5 patrolers, and made it so quests only flash once, instead of every minute. Made level 4 much easier in terms of both trolls and mortars. Level 5 & 6 are now much easier; fixed bug with yellow not being able to AKM right. Fixed bug on level 5 where sliding doesn't stop. Tried to keep trolls in formation. Trolls stop spawning at level 9 when it is beaten. Added a secret continue (hint: a level 4 tree). Version 2.8 - Final Added -reset command to reset camera, and fixed respawn death bug. Made level 7 trolls start sooner. Tried to fix the rocks bug, since it's in RoC JASS. Have fun!

Tips/Questions
This being my first, only, and last map, I have very limited knowledge about true map making, but I understand WE and triggers in general; if anybody has any tips to improve this map, feel free to contact me on AIM/ICQ screenname nomorholywar, or email/MSN address nomorholywar@hotmail.com. The only reason this map is optimized (protected) is to reduce its size by 1/2. If you want to know anything about the map or how to work the triggers, or wish for an unprotected version, just let me know. Remember: Warcraft... its just a game! Peace.
