Resident Evil

Overview

Resident Evil S.T.A.R.S. 4.5 is a zombie survival map for twelve players split into two teams on a 160 by 160 grid. Players choose from eight squad members, including the Medic, Sniper, Squad Leader, Engineer, Firebat, Demolitions Expert, Chaingunner, and Scout, each filling a distinct role. The map offers seventeen items such as armor, medical kits, turrets, and sentry towers, and players can trade them to strengthen teammates. Experience gain is halved and items drop at level-ups, which pushes players to move around rather than camp. Dying resets a hero to level one and turns them into a marine zombie until it is killed. Burrowers appear to disrupt long stays, while lurkers are dangerous unless a choke point is held.
