Survival

Overview

Survival 1.383 is a co-operative survival map for 12 players split into two teams, played on a 96x96 battlefield. Players control heroes such as the Marine, Chaos Knight, Templar, Pilot, and Space Robot, and gather or craft from a catalogue of around 132 items. The quest log stresses that the goal is simply to last as long as possible, since every hero will eventually die and the map cannot really be won. Each hero levels four skills, and secondary skills such as Mining, Healing, Archeology, and Construction can be swapped from orange boxes, with a 60-second wait between swaps. One player can become commander by stepping into a circle of power in the battleship, where research and buildings are managed. Chat commands cover movement speed, unsticking heroes, pooling gold, and toggling tips.
