Survive the Winter

Overview

Survive the Winter is a survival map for twelve players on a single team, played on a 128x138 map. Each player picks one of three animal heroes: Wolf, Fox, or Bear. The core loop is gathering food before the cold season arrives roughly twelve minutes in. Players hunt critters for meat, which comes in several kinds such as skink, crab, stag, raccoon, and pig, and bring it back to base for storage. Your food need appears as the mana bar, and running it down to zero is fatal. Two chat commands help: -home teleports you back to base, and -cam widens the camera view. Players also receive a small amount of lumber at the ten-minute mark, and there are items such as a Bear Cave and a Portable Wall to support the effort.
