Overview

The Black Road is a save-and-load role-playing map for Warcraft III, designed for nine players split into two teams on a 256 by 256 battlefield. The story follows Hades as he unleashes demonic armies across Greece and recruits the Titans to aid him. Victory requires defeating the eight Titans scattered across the map, which unlocks the Frozen Citadel and Persephone. Defeating her breaks the final seal and lets players summon Hades to the Gates of Hell. Quests have level requirements, so only players at or above that level receive their rewards. Characters can be saved to a code and reloaded, though only once per game. Chat commands handle saving, loading, repicking heroes, viewing stats, and displaying quest text.
