Venetia

Overview

Venetia is a four-player Warcraft III custom map by Blizzard Entertainment, played on a 96 by 96 field. The author's description sets the scene: renegade spellcasters have cut off trade within a walled city, and hostile creatures wait outside its gates for anyone who wanders too far. The map file lists no heroes, items, chat commands or quest log entries, and its loading screen text is blank, so the details of its mechanics are not described here. Based on the setting alone, it appears to centre on a city-and-wilds layout where players explore outside the walls and deal with magic-using factions.
