Wintermaul Wars Crystal

Overview

Wintermaul Wars Crystal is a tower defense style custom map for eight players split into two teams. Players send units toward the opposing side while building towers to defend their own base, and income depends on keeping units flowing, so the game rewards balancing offense and defense. Configurations are chosen by vote at the start, and the author has reworked units, buildings, models and spells across several versions. The hero on offer is the Element Chooser, which the quest log describes as strong but requiring manual attacks. A spellcaster unit levels its spells when the shrine is upgraded. The quest log also warns that massing too many units at once can cause them to block each other, especially at faster game speeds. Fog of War is included in the later versions.
