X Hero Siege

Overview

X Hero Siege 5.8, created by Jeremy, is a tower-defense style map for up to twelve players split into two teams. Players pick one of twenty-one heroes, including the Paladin, Archmage, Death Knight, Dryad and Sorceress, and work together to protect the central castle from waves of enemies. Along the way there are twenty-eight items to find, such as the Ring of Superiority and the Lightning Sword, which can be earned by defeating specific bosses in a special arena. The loading screen notes that every 5,000 gold converts into 10 stats. Chat commands let players toggle a bonus mode, repick heroes, or switch fog of war. The quest log advises that the castle has only a chance to hold, and that all dark forces must fall to win.
