X Hero Siege

Overview

X Hero Siege 9.36, a modification by Blood, pits up to twelve players on two teams against waves of dark forces attacking a central castle. Players choose from about 33 heroes, including the Ranger, Archmage, Pit Lord, and Dreadlord, and can collect items such as Boots of Speed and the Lightning Sword. Chat commands let players buy tomes, repick or randomly select a hero, open or close the way, check information, toggle fog, and resume the game, while other commands target specific player colours. The quest log says the castle must be held until victory, that slaying Magtheridon opens the shadow gate, and that defeating the dark monsters is how a team wins.
