Artifact TD v.1.23
Author: BwS.XelNecra
Overview
Artifact TD v.1.23 is a tower defense map for 12 players split into two teams, built by BwS.XelNecra and released in December 2008. Players use a Builder to spawn waves of creeps by pressing ESC or a Spawn ability, then place Artifacts, Items and Runes at checkpoints to stop them. Air units arrive every fifth level. Random Artifacts and Items can be bought at shops, and a Score system unlocks stronger Artifacts such as the Darksteel line, which received changes in this version. Chat commands let players toggle the ESC hotkey, call for air waves, or open a menu to remake or leave. The Quest-Log explains the low early Score totals and the end-of-game Damage-Test.
