Civilization Wars

Overview

Civilization Wars v2.35E is a multiplayer strategy map for eight players split into two teams of three plus a pair of open slots, played across a 96 by 96 battlefield. The author describes a contest on land and sea in which factions research technologies, build income and advance through successive eras until one side remains. Three hero units are included, among them a Great General. The map offers around ninety items, mostly markets of varying height, shipyards and military buildings. Its chat commands switch on options such as nuclear weapons in the modern age, a space race, and a limited build mode that can be disabled. Players can also claim lanes, and the XvX commands let one person control several slots. A bottom lane is suggested for newcomers.
