Overview
Mazing Contest XL v1.8 is a maze-building map for two teams of players, twelve in total, set on a 128x128 terrain. It is a larger take on Mazing Contest 2, with build areas grown from 72 tiles to 143 and build time doubled to two minutes. Players construct mazes for a runner to navigate, and the game offers several modes: Speedtower, where runner speed boosts must be avoided or cancelled; Expect, which targets a set completion time; Speedrun, which places thunderclap towers in the path; Penalty, which adds time for unspent resources; and Healtower, where the runner loses health over time. Checkpoints and a point-based score system are new in this version. Chat commands handle scoreboard display, camera distance, and an unstuck option that carries time penalties.
