Overview

Rune TD is a tower defense map for two teams, with eight player slots in total. Monsters converge on a central Rune Gateway Core, and each round the three Seals guarding it must be destroyed before the Core itself can be attacked. Players summon runes, socket them into towers, and combine their effects into runewords, whose recipes are kept on stones on the central island. The roster includes heroes such as Diablo, Mephisto, Duriel, The Butcher, and Tal Rasha, and a Horadric Cube that transmutes selected items. Chat commands handle battle-count voting, which defaults to 45 within a range of 30 to 60, listing available runewords, and the -air and -boss options. The map is an expansion of the author's earlier version.
